Safety slogans look great on the wall, on a poster, or at the entrance to your facility - but, do they really work?   Can you actually say that a banner prevented someone from being injured?

Statistical  research over the years, first published in 1969 and most recently updated in 2014, show that employees only remember 10% of what they  read, 20% of what they see, 30% of what they hear, but 80% of what they  do.​  Expecting  your employees to work safe because you have signs, banners or tell  them to "work safe" will not result in preventing accidents, reducing  costs or avoiding OSHA citations.

To be fully effective in maintaining a safe and  healthy workplace, employers must educate, communicate, engage empower and motivate their employees - safety slogans, postings or signs alone will not accomplish this, nor will it prevent accidents, improve morale or lower workers' compensation  costs.
